L'Oreal Color Riche Le Vernis Summer Collection 2013

Hey guys today I have 4 out of 6 colours from the new L'Oreal Colour Riche Le Vernis Summer Collection (RRP $6.95 for 5ml) to show you! This collection is limited edition and only available from October 2013 to February 2014!

L’OrĂ©al Paris Colour Riche Le Vernis Summer Collection offers six on-trend shades to ensure the women of Australia have the very latest in global trends and colours. In fashion and beauty, neon is this summer’s essential accessory from the catwalk to the sidewalk. Ultra concentrated neon pigments provide vibrant, intense colours with high coverage.  The Colour Riche Le Vernis Summer Collection allows every woman to mix and match her favourite Summer shades for every mood, look and occasion.

The 4 colours I am showing you today are from left to right; Atomic purple* (a super vibrant royal purple with a hint of blue creme), Wasabi Hint* (a mint pastel green creme), Acid Watermelon* (the perfect barbie doll pink creme) and Banana Pop* (a light egg yolk yellow creme). These all applied perfectly in 2 coats and I'm in love with the brush on these bottles! It's so easy to make a perfect line around the cuticle! All photos are shown without top coat!

Lovee the brush type!

Bio Sculpture Gel Nail Polish

Hey guys! Today I have 2 colours by Bio Sculpture Gel Nail Polish to show you. The first colour is 131*; a stunning dark ink blue crelly (creme/jelly) which applied so perfectly in 2 effortless coats and 133*; a vibrant canary yellow creme which was slightly harder to apply as it was a thicker creme then usual but still not too bad. These pictures are without topcoat and you can see how incredibly shiny they are - particularly the blue ink creme. . . I am in love with this colour! The brushes on these polishes are so good and short and make it easy to control the polish. I love the bottle shape too with the pointy lid! For my first time trying Bio Sculpture I am impressed and it definitely will not be my last bottle that's for sure! Let me know if you've tried any bio sculpture of if you pick any up! Biosculpture can be found by typing in your postcode on www.biosculpture.com.au to find your nearest stockists!

Fashion Show Nails!

Hey guys! Today I am showing you my nails I did for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Show in Brisbane. I am helping out with the event and get to work backstage with the models and bask in all the glamorous glory! I even got to meet Kris Smith, the male Myer ambassador!

This look was inspired by @thisisvenice who is an amazing nail artist based in Paris! It's edgy and funky at the same time! The 3 colours I used were Orly - Black Onyx (the black), Lime Crime - Lavendairy (the purple lavender colour) and China Glaze - Too Yacht Too Handle (the neon pastel lime colour). I used a dotting tool for the leopard print and a small paint brush for the diamonds! I topped it all off with 1 coat of SV.

I love this combo and I got tonnes of compliments from everyone - including many designers!! I hope you like these and I'll see you next time!

Clarins - New Products for 2013 (Lipstick & Concealer)

Hey guys today I have two new products by Clarins to show you! The first product is the Instant Concealer* (RRP $42) which is a cream concealer that instantly refreshes the eyes, hides dark circles, smooths eyes and reduces puffiness. It contains a caffeine extract to stimulate the skin and helps to decongest skin from signs of fatigue. It works similar to veil by using a hue that is opposite of that of a dark circle so it neutralizes the dark circle and allows the skin to have an even skin tone. This concealer is available in 3 shades; 01 Light, 02 Medium and 03 Dark. I have trialled 02 Medium for a week now and am loving how creamy and dewy it makes me look. It does a great job at covering any imperfections and dark spots and works as a semi to full coverage (buildable). This concealer is set to be released on the 7th of October and is a brilliant and super hydrating concealer!

The second product is the Limited Edition Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balm* (RRP $34). I am showing you the shade 08. Crystal berry, which is a lovely sheer cranberry colour. The awesome thing about this lip balm is that it delivers lipstick true colour due to the colour heart but also has a crystal balm surrounding the actual lipstick colour. It's really neat and reminds me of the Benefit - Fake Up technology - but in a lipstick version! This lip balm is buildable for a darker colour payoff. In the photos I have only applied 1 single coat but it does go darker when more coats are applied. It is super hydrating and gives a gorgeous flush of colour. I did find it somewhat difficult to apply the colour perfectly inside my lips because the colour is only in the middle of the lipstick so I just used my finger to evenly spread the colour around. This product smells like lollies...yum! This product is already released so make sure you go check it out next time you're by the Clarins counter!

Look at that amazing barrel of hydrating colour! Oh yeah!!

So what do you think of these new Clarins products? The lip balm is definitely a new favourite and the concealer is such a nice product to use on special occasions! Let me know if you try anything out!

Artsy Wednesday - Cartoon Nails

Hey everyone! It's time for AW and it comes around so quickly! Today's theme is cartoon and I decided to go with the very cool look that I originally saw by cutepolish! It is literally where you outline your nails with black and add white to one side to make it look cartoon-esque. I also mattified the look to really make the effect stand out! The colours I used are all Zoya flakies. I used 2 coats of each colour (from pinky to pointer were); Mimi, Ivanka, Alegra and Charla (Charla stains soooo bad!). Then I used Orly - Black Vinyl to border each nail with a paint brush and used OPI - Alpine Snow to paint on the white shiny effects. I then mattified it all down with LCN - Matte top coat.

Make sure you check out these awesome girls for their AW design!!

Dandy Lyin Around* - A shimmer white creme with gorgeous pearlescent flecks! This is 2 effortless coats with 1 coat of SV.

Keep Calm, Paint On* - A seam foam green shimmer with gorgeous pearlescent flakies! This one was quite hard to capture, the first picture looks more blue - but the second macro shot is more colour accurate! This is 2 coats with 1 coat of SV.

Desert Sun* - A gorgeous burnt caramel creme. This colour is very unique in my collection and I'm sure I will use this colour a lot in some nail art! This is 2 coats and 1 coat of SV.

Kalahari Kiss* - A yellow toned beige creme which applied perfectly in 2 coats, followed by 1 coat of SV.

Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow for Artsy Wednesday!!

ELEVEN Australia Haircare Products

Hello everyone! Today I have 3 products by ELEVEN Australia to show you. ELEVEN is a new brand developed for people who want a simple solution to quality haircare. Today I am showing you the Hydrate My Hair Moisture Shampoo* (RRP $20.95) and Conditioner* (RRP $21.95) as well as the Miracle Hair Treatment* (RRP $24.95) They are available from selected Ozdare salons and online here. First of all I need to mention how amazing these 3 products smell! The shampoo and conditioner smell like the Jelly Belly watermelon flavour - such a lovely sweet candy smell and the hair treatment is so decadently delicious with a nice coconut smell to it. I am getting way too excited about washing my hair these days ever since I've received these products! Not only are they all super hydrating but I have definitely noticed my hair is so much softer! After shampooing my hair is so smooth and hydrated that I almost didn't need to condition - which I haven't experienced before!

The shampoo and conditioner are very light-weight and has not made my hair feel heavy or dirty - actually quite the opposite, full of volume and so soft! The miracle treatment is very light as well and you can use so much without it weighing your hair down - which I love to do by smothering it all over my damp hair after a shower! I seriously recommend this product to anyone with normal hair conditions - or even someone with very dry hair - as my ends are seriously damaged from all the blonde dyes I use! This is definitely my new go to hair products and I absolutely love the simplicity of the label and packaging - no muss! Let me know if you guys try this brand out as I have a feeling it will be very popular soon!

Clarins - Total Cleansing Oil

Hey guys! Today I have Clarins - Total Cleansing Oil* (RRP $38 available at counters 26th August) to show you! It is the first cleanser from Clarins to effectively eliminate all resistant mico-residues linked to the use of new generation cosmetic products (e.g long hold makeup, high performance UV screens and residue of pollution). The key ingredient is organic perilla (herb of the mint family) and olive oil to help keep the skin soft and clean. I wore makeup all day and at night I used this product to remove all traces of make up and it worked very well and did not sting or burn the eyes. It is a good product but for the price you can easily find a cheaper and effective remover! When it comes to saving or splurging, I find make up removers to be a savings, but the Clarins Rouge Eclat lipstick on the other hand is a definite splurge for me!

And the giveaway winners are....

1st Winner:
Caitlin Gladney-Hatcher

2nd Winner:
Erin Oxley

3rd Winner:
Krysta Small

4th Winner:
 Alisha Martin

Congratulations to all of the winners! They have all responded back to the email I sent them! Thanks for everyone who entered!!

China Glaze - Sunsational Collection 2013

Hey guys!! Today I have a few new colours by China Glaze to show you from their latest Summer 2013 collection called Sunsational. This collection consists of 6 cremes and 6 jellies but today I am showing you 2 cremes. The formula on these were quite tricky, as they are neon formula you need to paint on your layers very quickly to avoid dragging, pulling or any bald spots. I used 3 coats for the swatches you see here followed by 1 coat of SV. P.s I will be announcing my giveaway winners shortly so stay tuned!

Too Yacht Too Handle* - A stunning bright aqua turquoise blue creme. This dries slightly brighter then the bottle colour. This would have to be one of my all time favourite colours (not formula-wise though!)

Highlight Of My Summer* - A super bright mint green creme that also dries brighter than the bottle colour itself. This was a very hard polish to apply but with patience and practice I got a smooth base. This didn't last long until it started chipping (about 18 hours).

These are super gorgeous colours but China Glaze haven't really nailed the formula yet! I love the colours because they aren't classic neons, they are slightly pastel or more neutral looking with a really cool surprising glow! Besides the formula, these are probably my 2 new favourite colours for the upcoming Summer! Which colour have you grabbed from this collection?

Yves Saint Laurent - Glossy Stain in #9

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hey guys! I'm really excited to show you the YSL - Glossy Stain in #9 Rouge Laque*. This is a super vibrant lip stain that is so opaque for a stain! It is the brightest and truest red colour I own! By applying 1 coat you get a nice flush of colour, but the magic really happens when you apply a second coat. This revolutionary product has the best staying power of any lip product I have tried, which is unreal as it is a gloss! The cool thing about this product is that it applies on like a liquid lipstick and then it becomes sort of tacky and then fully dries but the glossiness remains! I was touching my lips with my finger and NOTHING was transferring! I am yet to do a kissing test though with my boyfriend! :) This remarkable product retails for $50 and is available from Myer and David Jones. Although it is expensive, this product will last you so long (as a small amount goes a long way - think OCC lip tars) and for the vibrancy, staying power and overall elegance it brings, I would be more then happy to fork out $50 for a different colour (but maybe not more than 1 at a time!). Here are some pictures (all shown with 2 coats)!

Inside, Flash on.
Outside, natural light.
In the shade, outside
I'm so in love with this product, if you get the chance go to a YSL counter and get them to try it out on your lips! This red is perfect for every skin tone! Thanks for reading!

Artsy Wednesday - Blue Nails

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hello everyone! It's another Artsy Wednesday and today's theme is BLUE! I decided on a geometric look with 2 different blue colours. First I painted all my nails with Kester Black - Buttercream (reviewed here) and I waited for that to completely dry. Then I hand painted on China Glaze - Too Yacht To Handle (review coming soon!) and Kester Black - Forget Me Not (reviewed here) I topped it all off with 1 coat of SV. Then I felt like using some of the gorgeous diamontes I bought off ebay so I got some nail glue and applied duochrome blue diamontes at the cuticle! (P.s using nail glue makes them stay on so much better then just using a top coat!) This looks so pretty I wish I could capture it better!

Make sure to check out these wonderful girls and their blue themed nails!!
