Orly - Adrenaline Rush Summer 2015 Collection

Hi everyone! Today I have the newest Orly collection to show you called Adrenaline Rush, and what a perfect name for this collection. These nail polishes are BRIGHT and very very beautiful, with the most perfect formula, only needing 2 coats!. Orly retails for $18.95 and is available from selected Terry White chemists and online at www.orlybeauty.com.au. Let's take a look at the shades!

Be Daring - A beautiful dusty grape purple creme.

Fireball - A very unique red/orange creme with subtle blue shimmers. I adore this colour!

On The Edge - This is my absolute favourite colour from this collection and has already made its way into my top 10 favourite nail polishes of all time! I have been wearing it non stop on my nails and feet. The most perfect vibrant indigo shade ever.

Push The Limit - A very pastel sherbet orange creme. Not quite neon but not entirely pastel either. I love it.

Risky Behaviour - A beautiful deep pink creme. Very classic.

Thrill Seeker - This polish is somewhat similar to Push The Limit, in that it isn't entirely a neon, but it's not a pastel either. It's definitely more of a sherbet/borderline neon lime green. My photo does not do it justice - it is much brighter in person!

So which colour is your favourite? Let me know below. Thanks for reading and see you soon!

ghd V Gold Max Kit Review

Hi lovelies! Today I want to share with you my review of the ghd V Gold Max Kit which includes a ghd paddle brush, iconic ghd style heat protect spray and two sectioning clips for RRP of $269 (the usual price of the styler alone). I decided to trial this product on my mum's hair as she has very thick, very curly (at the roots) hair and thought she was a very suitable candidate. A few details about the straightener; it heats up ridiculously fast (i'd say about 5 seconds and I couldn't touch the plate any longer). It has a really sleek designs and makes it very easy to use with the swivel cord at the base. I did not use the heat protector spray on my mum's hair, but I did use the brush and clips to section the hair whilst straightening. One thing I did notice was that I had to go over the same section of hair a few times if that section had a few grey hairs in it (I guess grey hairs are a bit stubborn), so I grabbed any obvious individual grey hairs and straightened them. I think this straightener definitely lives up to the hype and gives you a gorgeous shiny glow to your hair in the end! ghd is available from ghd-approved salons or at www.ghdhair.com  Here's some pictures to compare. Thanks a lot for reading!

OPI - 2015 Soft Shades Collection

Hi everyone! Today I have the new OPI 2015 Softshades Collection to share with you. This collection consists of 6 colours; 2 sheer cremes/jellys, 1 shimmer, 1 metallic and 2 glitters. They are all beautifully soft and feminine shades, which makes this a perfect wedding collection in my eyes! All swatches shown are 2 coats with no topcoat and all applied relatively well. I had a few issues with some of the brushes (perhaps a faulty batch) and some nails looked a bit streaky in result. Other than that issue I have been loving wearing nude shades in autumn/winter as I feel it just refreshes your look. Let's jump right into the colours!

Chiffon My Mind - A beautiful milky white with a hint of blue shimmers. (Note the ring finger looking streaky due to the brush).

Make Light Of The Situation - A sheer glitter with duo-chromatic glitter and blue shimmer.

Petal Soft - A sheer mix of super small white glitters, small pink glitters and large flower glitters. This polish did not requite any fishing for the flower glitters which was amazing! I do really like this glitter as it's very unique but I find it almost too young for me.

Act Your Beige - A super sheer light beige jelly creme.

Put It In Neutral - A darker beige/pink jelly. This colour clashed with my skintone and made my nails look like they were a bit sore and red.

This Silver's Mine - A pearlescent green based metallic silver. This leaves visible line strokes on your nails.

All these colours are really pretty and complement each other really well. They aren't colours I usually gravitate to when choosing what colour to wear next, but they are timeless classics. Thanks for reading.

Laura Mercier Lip Product Review

Hi guys! I hope you are doing well. Today I have 3 new lip products by Laura Mercier to share with you; 2 Lip Glaces (RRP $30.00) and 1 Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour (RRP $35.00) both available from David Jones nationally. I'm a huge fan of Laura Mercier, every product being consistently good and today's products are no exception!

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of lipglosses/glaces in general but I gave these a Lip Glaces a try anyway! They were really moisturising and applied very smoothly onto the lips. They had a sheer/medium opacity but gave a really nice tint to the lips - nothing too dramatic, so perfect for everyday wear. I really loved the scent of them! The shades shown below are: Pink Pop; a beautiful light pink with subtle shimmers through it, and Orchid; a stunning dark wine/berry colour.

Pink Pop
Orchid
I was very intruiged by the Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour, hoping it would be somewhat similar to liquid lipsticks that dry to a matte finish. It didn't try completely to a matte, i'd say more semi-matte but I really loved wearing this product. I was pleasantly surprised that the shade I wore (Rosewood; a beautiful brown/mauve colour - similar to Kylie Jenner's famous lip colour!) suited me so well! I wore this product all night where I went out for dinner, ate lots of food and even had gelato afterwards, and this baby stayed put! I highly recommend this lip product to anyone wanting to try something that has great opacity, as well as being very hydrating to your lips. Can't wait to wear this more and now i'm convinced I need more colours!

And me being a big poser wearing Rosewood. . but hey at least my lips look good don't you think?!

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you try/have tried any of these lip products!

Mother's Day Gift Guide 2015

Hi everyone! Mother's day is just over a week away now so I thought I would share some of my favourite products for my mum this year! You can't go wrong with beauty products for Mother's day so let's take a look at the products!

Sanctuary Spa - White Lily & Damask Rose Body Scrub (RRP $14.99) and Green Lemon & Orange Blossom Body Wash (RRP $14.99. My love for Sanctuary spa is quite obvious, reviewing many of their products and loving every single product so much, every time. So it's no surprise that I would choose to include this brand as one of the top brands I recommend as a gift for my mum! Firstly I have to tell you how utterly and irresistibly amazing the White Lily & Damask Rose Body Scrub smells - I literally want the scent made into a perfume as it's just SO divine! Aside from the beautiful scent, it performs really well too. The scrub is very gentle but effectively smooths and softens skin. I personally love using it on my decolletage. I feel so feminine after using it! The Green Lemon & Orange Blossom Body Wash is also another favourite, having a really beautiful citrus scent that's not too overpowering. It leaves your skin feeling super hydrated and moisturised. Sanctuary Spa is available from Priceline stores nationally and online at www.sanctuaryspaaustralia.com.au

Molton Brown - Blossoming Honeysuckle & White Tea Bath & Shower Gel (RRP $39.00) and Gingerlilly Hand Cream (RRP $15.00). Molton Brown is a brand that's still quite new to me - only ever trying a candle previously but have been so impressed with the brand and it's beautiful packaging. It oozes luxury and I know my mum will love these two items. The bath gel smells insanely good and makes lots of bubbles (very important)! It has a really relaxing aroma and keeps the skin super soft. The handcream helps to restore your skin's moisture and keeps your skin soft and replenished too. These two products are a perfect combo on a dreary, rainy day! Molton Brown is available from Myer and David Jones nationally.

One product that I am an advocate for, is oil. I love oil as a step in my skincare regime because it keeps my skin moisturised and nourished like no other product. I love to use it to cleanse my skin, to moisturise my skin, and on my hair and body. I've been using facial oils for over 7 years now and I'm very confident that when i'm older, my skin will be looking just as good as my mum's (finger's crossed anyway). She has such amazing skin, hardly any fine lines or dark spots. My mum has raised me and showed me the importance of moisturising and wearing sunscreen and it's a trait I'm so thankful for.

Physicians Formula - Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil (RRP $25.95, available at selected Priceline stores nationally), is a beautiful, light-weight oil. It's viscosity is a little bit drier to rosehip oil so I use a few more drops than usual, but since using this my skin has been glowing. I highly recommend Argan Oil as it can be used not only on your face, but also on your hair and body.

And lastly, if you want to go all out, spoil her with a beautiful ghd V Gold Max Kit which includes a ghd paddle brush, iconic ghd style heat protect spray and two sectioning clips for RRP of $269 (the usual price of the styler alone)! This pack is the ultimate Mother's day gift - making it easy for your Mum to have a good hair day, everyday! I trialled this product on my mum's very thick, curly to the root hair and was very impressed with the results (review up in the next week or so!).

Good luck with any last minute Mother's day shopping, I hope I gave some good ideas!
